 The main difference from the M3 DS Simply is that REAL comes in a package with optional Rumble Expansion Pack and more importantly you can buy a GBA Expansion Pack (GBA Expansion Pack included with  M3 DS Real - Perfect Bundle) for M3 DS Real and play Gameboy Advance Roms on the DS! Other updated features include High Capacity microSD card support - where as the previous model of the M3 Adapter was not compatible with HC memory cards. You can still use regular micro SD cards, but when the bigger 8, 16GB and even 32GB HC SD cards come out you can use those as well.

The M3 DS REAL Rumble Bundle is a Slot 1 solution, meaning instead of using the GBA slot it uses the DS slot and is the same size as a standard DS game card. The "Rumble Bundle" version contains the M3 DS Real card, a Rumble pack (to add vibration to your games) and a USB 2.0 Micro SD card reader. The latest firmware can be downloaded easily, the disc is no longer supplied with this product due to the latest update being available online for instant download
